APPLIED MEDIA & COMMUNICATION
Dr. Dalia Rehab
I am a media scholar, curator, educator, and visual storyteller working at the intersection of art, media, and culture. Through photography, multimedia exhibitions, research, and creative practice, I explore how images tell stories, shape identities, challenge dominant narratives, and respond to a changing social and technological world.
About me
I am an educator, media scholar, curator, and visual practitioner with more than 20 years of international experience across the United States and the Middle East.
I design professional & beautiful websites
My work brings together visual communication, art history, media, and the humanities, with a strong belief in connecting academic inquiry with creative practice.
Throughout my career, I have designed interdisciplinary learning experiences and curated more than 12 public exhibitions in collaboration with embassies, cultural institutions, festivals, hospitals, and community partners. These projects have allowed me to bring students, artists, institutions, and communities together through visual storytelling and cross-cultural dialogue.
My teaching and research are driven by curiosity about how art and media respond to cultural and social change. I am particularly interested in visual culture, identity, social justice, and the evolving relationship between creativity and technology. More recently, my work has explored the possibilities and challenges of emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can be thoughtfully and ethically integrated into creative education and practice.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating spaces where research, creativity, and education come together—and where visual communication can become a meaningful way of understanding and engaging with the world.
